Make your own YouTube channel.
With a Google Account, you can view, like, and subscribe to videos. However, you have no public presence on YouTube unless you establish a YouTube channel. You must create a YouTube channel to upload videos, comment, or create playlists, even if you have a Google Account.
You can make a YouTube channel on the website or on the YouTube mobile app.
Make a channel for yourself.
To make a channel that only you can control with your Google Account, follow these instructions.
- On a computer or on a mobile device, go to YouTube and sign in.
- After that, click on your profile image. Make a channel for yourself.
- It will be necessary for you to build a channel.
- Check the information (including your Google Account name and photo) and click Create Channel to start building your channel.
Make a channel using the name of your company or something else.
Create a channel that can have many managers or owners by following these instructions.

- On a computer or on a mobile device, go to YouTube and sign in.
- Navigate to your channel library.
- Whether you want to create a new channel or use an existing Brand Account, you have two options:
- By clicking Create a new channel, you can create a new channel.
- Create a YouTube channel for a Brand Account you already manage by selecting it from the drop-down menu. You can't establish a new channel if this Brand Account currently has one. You'll be moved to that channel after selecting the Brand Account from the list.
4. Fill up the blanks to give your new channel a name. Then press the Create button. This will result in the creation of a new Brand Account.
5. Follow the guidelines for changing channel owners and managers to add a channel manager.
